시각장애인을 위한 모바일 랜드마크 시스템 디자인 제안 : 보행경험에 대한 질적 탐색을 중심으로

초록

For individuals with visual impairments, walking independently is a crucial capability that affirms their autonomy and enables meaningful participation in society. Although various studies have explored ways to enhance their walking experience, few have thoroughly addressed their fundamental needs from the perspective of their lived experiences. Based on the concept of experience-centered design, this study conducted 12 semi-structured qualitative interviews to gain deeper insights into the walking experiences of individuals with visual impairments. Reflecting their challenges and needs, we proposed design directions for a mobile-based landmarking system to store environmental information. This study not only presents a concept for a new support system that respects their autonomy but also offers a design framework informed by a comprehensive understanding of their experiences.
