Recently, Due to the current Housing Act amendments, the allowable range of vertical expansionis regulated to maximum three-story in the case of over the 15-story building. By an increasedlateral loads due to the vertical Extension wall generates a flexural-shear failure. Thus, shearreinforcement of the wall required to resist shear forces.
