다문화가정과 한국인가정 대학생 자녀 간의 다문화가정에 대한 인식 차이 연구

초록

This study investigates the perceptual differences between children from multicultural families and children from Korean families in rapidly changing Korean society, and analyzes how these differences impact issues related to social integration. For this purpose, interviews were conducted with children from both multicultural and Korean families to compare and analyze their recognition of social diversity contributions and preferences for multicultural policies. The study, through interviews conducted with children from multicultural families and Korean families, compared and analyzed perceptions of multicultural families, evaluations of multicultural policies, recognition of social contributions, and attitudes towards cultural diversity. The results revealed clear differences in the perception of social contribution and policies between the two groups, which act as major factors inhibiting social integration. While children from Korean families perceive multicultural policies as primarily focused on educational support and language learning, children from multicultural families believe these policies should emphasize more comprehensive social support and awareness improvement. This research underscores the need for educational efforts and policy support development to successfully integrate multicultural families in Korean society, highlighting the necessity for concrete measures to enhance the social contributions of multicultural families and overcome social challenges.
