무용프로그램 참여에 따른다문화가정 자녀의 사회성 발달

초록

The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the dance program and performing arts activities by examining the differences in social development of the elementary school children in domestic and international marriages. In order to investigate the impact of the program, all of the subjects were carefully chosen from an elementary school in Gongju, Choong Chung Nam Do with 6 inter-racial students and 6 domestic students across all ages. All 12 students participated in the same program and performed the same activities in order for us to assess the differences more clearly. The dance program positively impacted both parties’ social development, but proved to be more effective on the inter-racial students as was the case for self-efficacy. Therefore, by looking at the effectiveness of the dance program, we should not only focus on understanding the multi-cultural educational methods but we should also hope to develop and implement a variety of dance programs that prove practical and effective in aiding self-efficacy and social development of the inter-racial students.
