ow to design e-PBL to support learners‘ collaboration
초록
nline problem-based learning (e-PBL) on Computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) environment has great potential for collaboration among distributed learners. As PBL has been adopted for a CSCL environment, various technological supports have been designed and applied in the PBL process for supporting students‘ problem solving management and collaborative work. It is still not, however, an easy work for learners in CSCL environments to enable their collaborative learning without supports. For creating a more supportive CSCL environment for e-PBL, design principles synthesizing various supportive approaches involving, training approaches, scripts approaches, and scaffolding approaches are required. To this end, the framework of supportive approaches and design principles for creating CSCL environment are presented. Based on integration of three approaches to support collaboration, four design principles and e-PBL course template were presented.
