지각된 모의 양육행동이 실패내성에 미치는 영향: 성취목표의 매개역할

초록

We examined whether the children's perception of their mothers' conditional positive and negative regards and autonomy support would be influence children's achivement goals and failure-tolerance. Furthermore, we examined the mediating effect of children's achievement goals in the relationship between parenting behaviors and failure-tolerance. We analyzed data from 224 elementary 5th, 6th grades in seoul. The results were summarized as follows. First, conditonal positve regard was positively related to the mastery goal, conditional negative regard was positively related to the mastery-avoidance goal, autonomy support was positively related to the performance goal and was negatively related to the mastery-avoidance goal. Second, conditional positive regard was not related to the failure-tolerance, conditional negative regard was negatively related to failure-tolerance, autonomy support was positively related to the failure-tolerance. Third, the effect of autonomy support on action after failure and task difficulty preference was mediated by performance goals. The findings highlighted the effect of parenting behaviors on achivement goal and failure-tolerance, advanced our understanding about the mechanism of parenting behaviors by investigating the mediation effect of performance goal between autonomy support and failure-tolerance.
