Reduction of Nitrogen Oxides Generation by Adjusting Combustion Conditions in a 350 MW Oil-Fired Power Plant

초록

In this study, I investigated correlation factors of combustion conditions related to reduction of Nitrogen Oxides in order to reduce the load of catalyst in de-NOX system as expired of catalyst life time. I analyzed variation of inlet Nitrogen Oxides by adjusting each combustion conditions. Firstly, Nitrogen Oxides was reduced about 14% from 250 ppm to 215 ppm in the continued test, which were adjusted by air register angle, O2 bias and flue gas recirculation flow. Secondly, Nitrogen Oxides was reduced about 20% from 250 ppm to 200 ppm in the step test which was adjusted by only flue gas recirculation flow.
