디지털 컨버전스 의미의 고찰과 e-Business의 미래 연구 방향

초록

Digital convergence is one of the major trend in technological and industrial evolution. Despite the increasing use of the terminoloy 'convergence', the meaning of which is not clearly defined nor operationalized. In an effort to give a structure to this concept to be used for future research on e-business, a careful review of this concept, phenomena, and terminology is attempted from the perspective of the development of technology, market, and industry. A framework to organize research issues with regard to digital convergence and the future of e-business is suggested, explained, and applied to exemplify diverse research issues to be explored in the future.
