전생애적 문식성으로서의 논술 개념의 확장 -역량 평가 및 학습 도구로서의 특성을 중심으로-

초록

This study tries to expand the concept of 'Nonsul' focusing on essential value of essay. First, this study analyzes through Nonsul items to demonstrate that Nonsul is an evaluating tool of basic literacy, taking attention that Nonsul has been used as an evaluating instrument for college admission. Second, this study examine the connection between Nonsul and lifelong literacy, focusing on the possibility of Nonsul as an extending tool of core competency. This study suggests a new concept of Nonsul. First, Nonsul can be not only an evaluating tool of learners' competencies, but also an extending tool of core competency related to the literacy. Second, the concept of Nonsul should be expanded to an evaluating and extending tool for lifelong literacy with regard to lifelong learning. In order to change the concept of the Nonsul, the following problems must be solved. First, efforts for expanding genre diversity in Nonsul writing should be made. Second, it is necessary to look Nonsul as a part of convergence education by moving away from internal logic of Korean language education through a cross- curricular approach. Third, competency elements that can be assessed through the Nonsul should be understood not just as basic competencies directly related to literacy but as including a concept of extension competencies.
