초록

Weapons are affected by uncertainties like ammunition uncertainty, operational uncertainty and sighting uncertainty. Due to these uncertainties, landing point of shot has uncertainty also. Firing accuracy is quantitative measurement of uncertainty of shot which represents probability of shot landed within target. To evaluate firing accuracy, bivariate normal distribution based methods like closed form precision (CFP) and circular error probable (CEP) have been developed. However, in general, shot groups are not normally distributed. Therefore, the previous methods is hard to describe distribution of shot group exactly since they assume shot group to be bivariate normal distribution. In this research, to resolve limitation of the previous methods, a new method to evaluate firing accuracy is proposed by employing copula as a bivariate distribution. In addition, comparisons of error between the proposed method and the previous methods are performed
