노인 홈리스 단기보호시설의 공간디자인 가이드라인 연구

초록

Recently, the society in our nation is aging rapidly due to increasing elderly population, and various problems related to elders are emerging as social issues. The homeless population resulting from mass unemployment since IMF has increased rapidly over the last ten years or so, and therefore elderly homeless population is also continuously increasing. Thereby, in this study, it is determined that improvement in space design of shelters for homeless elders is needed for those who have no place to live. This study was initiated to promote public awareness of shelters for homeless elders where they reside for their remaining life, and aims to propose space design guidelines for the shelters with consideration of elders’ characteristics in planning space design for such facilities, so that they may reside comfortably and safely as to recover self-reliance.
