2022년 카타르 월드컵 대륙별 반칙 패턴: 경기시간 및 필드구역 분석

초록
The objective of this study is to analyze the differences in timing, field zones, and types of fouls across the 64 matches involving 32 teams in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, thereby identifying the football styles and strategic characteristics of five continents. Data collection was based on match footage, categorizing fouls into 12 types, dividing the field into 9 zones, and segmenting the games into 6 time periods for frequency and cross-tabulation analyses. The findings are as follows: First, an analysis of fouls by time period showed a concentration of fouls near the end of both halves across all continents, with CONCACAF teams demonstrating asignificant occurrence of committing numerous offside fouls in the first half. Second, in the analysis of through analysing fouls by field zones, all continents exhibited the highest occurrence of fouls in central zones. Europe and South America were prominent for pushing fouls, Africa for charging, CONCACAF for tackling, and Asia for holding fouls. Third, in the analysis of by analysing thetypes of fouls, significant continental differences were observed; Europe primarily showed demonstratedpushing fouls, South America tripping, CONCACAF offside, and Asia and Africa both committed charging and tripping fouls. These results reflect the distinct football cultures and strategic features of each continent, suggesting that enhancing team performance requires efforts in technical training, physical conditioning, rules education, and systematic recovery programs to reduce fouls and increase strategic competitiveness.
