명대 개인 장서가의 장서 활동과 출판사업에 대한 고찰 ― 모진(毛晋)의 급고각(汲古閣)을 중심으로
초록
In the Ming dynasty, the collection and publication of books by individual librarians was very active due to economic prosperity, the development of printing technology, and the collection culture handed down from the Song dynasty. He has a collection of 84,000 books, and has published a total of 600 books, including books from the four departments, including novels and writings. The collection of books(藏書) is a cultural activity that values books very much, because books are an important tool for the transmission and inheritance of culture. Mo jin’s collection was based on this spirit. Mojin recognized that the collection of books was the starting point of the collection and the core of publication. In addition to the manuscripts, rare books were brought to the world through professional sympathy work. For this reason, the published version of Gupgogak(汲古閣) at that time gained fame both at home and abroad. Mo Jin’s passion for collection and publishing activities not only had a positive influence on future generations, but also contributed greatly to the work of organizing ancient documents in China. Mo jin, who devoted himself to collections and publications for 40 years, played an important role in private collections and publications during the Ming and Qing period. In this paper, I would like to examine the achievements of Mo Jin’s lifelong family business, collection and publishing, and how it had an impact on the arrangement of ancient literature in China.
