포스트휴먼의 공포에 대한 비판적 고찰

초록

The purpose of this paper is to criticize the fear about posthuman. Opponents of posthuman insist that becoming posthuman is dehumanization and harmful for the dignity of human,(F1)) and that appearance of posthuman leads inequality.((F2)) But, I criticize that both (F1) and (F2) are not valid. First, (F1) can neither suggest accurate concept of human, which verifies that becoming posthuman is dehumanization, nor suggest concrete grounds verifying that becoming posthuman is harmful for the dignity. Second, (F2) originated from incorrect belief that moral status is determined by superiority and depends on the speciesism. Therefore, the fear depending on inaccurate grounds and unethical assumption cannot be reasons for opposing posthuman. And, the posthuman shows that the boundary between human/non-human is deconstructed and speciesism is disintegrated. In this thesis, I point out that opponents of posthuman don't grasp the meaning of posthuman.
