Synthesis of various zinc oxide nanorods

초록

Semiconductor nanorods and nanowires have attracted much interest due to their properties. Various methods have been developed for the synthesis of nanomaterials that have included template-assisted, vapor-liquid-solid, electrochemical process. ZnO has a large direct band gap (3.37eV), n-type property, excellent chemical and thermal stability, and the electrical properties. We synthesized Zinc oxide nanorods on porous silicon, glass, and silicon wafer in aueous solution using electrochemical process. This can be applied to photodetectors, gas sensors, and solar cells.
