초록

Yoon Gongang published a lot of collections of poems among poets who acted during the colonial era. Also he was the second poetic theorist who wrote criticism of poems of modern literature history after Kim Girim. Addition to these publications background, he added activities such as participating to KAPF and serving in prison when government’s the second arresting KAPF to his life. Like this, Yoon Gongang was an unusual and completed poet and poetic theorist absorbed consistently writing poems and working poetic theory during nearly 20 years from early 1930s’ to very after liberation. His poems did not belong to the mainstream in that time such as pure lyric poetry, proletarian poetry and modernism poetry, and formed independent world. His poems consisted of internal exposing pursuing pure lyric, allegories of reality intervention as proletarian’s belief and desire on imagism pursuing modernism. As he had queried relation between poetry and reality among poets in those time, made poetic theory on realism. To speak frankly, features of consistently his poetic theory were to emphasize functions and roles of poetry based on key words like reality or society. In the first period, passion revealing and immature radical crying in original language soaked the earth and he showed features echoed songs of death overflowing gloom and anxieties. In the second period, he showed technique make from reality problems to properties of animals as objective equivalents into allegory. The third period was the time changing recovery of ethno-language and searching on ethno- emotions. Yoon Gongang’s poems and critic world had significant energy, possibility and relatively obvious limitations in quantity and width of the time. We now monumentalize 100 years after his birth loading genuine sentiment, unusuality and pity of his language which showed hard process of rivalry with realities in those time and self-consciousness world.
