초록
To improve the filtration efficiency of porous materials as a filter, extensive specific surface area is especially needed as it enhances chemical reaction sites with impurities. In this paper, a method for creating a hybrid porous alloy was suggested by using the powder metallurgical technique to build macroporous Al-4wt.%Cu alloy and subsequent surface modification for a nanoporous surface with considerably enlarged specific surface area. The macroporous structure could be controlled by the granulation, control of compacting pressure, and sintering process; and the nanoporous structure could be successively accomplished by a surface modification process with a dilute NaOH solution
