Experimental Analysis of Phase Change Material and Thermoelectric Generator-Assisted Building Integrated Photovoltaic System

초록

To harvest energy from solar heat, which is accumulated in building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV), a thermoelectric generatorcan generate the power from the temperature difference between PV panel and microencapsulate phase change material. This studyconduct the experiment to the performance of building integrated photovoltaic integrated thermoelectric generator andmicroencapsulate phase change material (BIPV-TEG-PCM) for improve the energy independence of buildings. The result show thatthe TEG can generate the electric power 160 mW/m2 during the day time, and can generate 20 mW/m2 during the nithgt time.
