Research on Value Co-creation Mechanism of AI Chip Industry Based on Evolutionary Game Theory

초록

This study analyzes the value co-creation mechanism in the high-uncertainty AI semiconductor industry. It constructs an Evolutionary Game Theory model with three actors: AI semiconductor fabless companies, cloud AI service providers, and the government. Prospect Theory is applied to capture decision biases like loss aversion in this high-risk sector. The model evaluates how policies financial subsidies versus institutional systems like technology standardization affect subjective value perception and strategic choices. Simulation results reveal non-financial technology standardization is a critical variable. Past a specific threshold, it directly mitigates perceived technology leakage risks for cloud providers and amplifies R&D synergies for fabless firms. This mechanism guides the ecosystem toward an Evolutionarily Stable Strategy (ESS), characterized by voluntary positive integration between firms without subsidy intervention. This research concludes that policy must shift from short-term financial support to long-term institutional design, prioritizing robust standardization to eliminate systemic uncertainty and foster a self-sustaining innovation ecosystem.
