초록

The main objective of this paper is to propose the liquid desiccant-assisted ventilation system and evaluate its energyperformance. To reduce the solution cooling and heating load for liquid desiccant (LD) system, the solution atomizationtechnology was applied. System 1 was the solution atomization based LD-assisted ventilation system and system 2 was thepacked-bed based LD-assisted ventilation system. The heat pump was selected as a cooling and heating source for LDsystem in each system, and the indoor parallel system was used for sensible cooling. The simulation was performed tocompare the energy consumption during the summer season. The results indicated that the system 1 could reduce the energyconsumption about 34% in the ventilation system and 20% in the parallel system. Finally, the system 1 could save over28% of energy than the system 2.
