국내진출 다국적기업의 글로벌정보시스템 도입에 관한 연구

초록

Given the irreversible trend of globalization, multinational companies have recognized the significance of adopting standardized global information systems that aim to integrate worldwide operations and promote their efficiency. With the cases of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as a representative global information system adopted by subsidiaries in Korea,this study tests whether motivational factors – incentive mechanism, trust to the adopted ERP system, support from executives ‐ at the Korean subsidiaries lead to higher users’ satisfaction. The empirical results found that only support from top managers increased the satisfaction level of users of the new global information system, while outcome‐oriented compensation system reduced the satisfaction level. Managerial implications are also provided.
