멘토 권하는 사회: 신자유주의 시대, 멘토는 어떻게 생산되는가?

초록

This study explored the relationship between the formation of thesubject and the power relations under the neoliberalism through thementor phenomenon in the contemporary Korean society. More specifically,this study examined a complex interplay between the mentor phenomenonand how it serves the neoliberal ideology by focusing on theprocess of subjectification of individuals and conducive relations theyhave with such a paradigm. We utilized Michel Foucault’s discoursetheory in order to highlight the way a certain governmentality works andwas strengthened as discursive formation. One may understand a complexinterplay between the individuals and structure under neoliberalismthrough this local as well as global economic and cultural phenomenon.
