규칙적 주변과 불규칙적 중심이 나타나는 칸의 작품에 관한 연구
A Study of Louis Kahn"s Works in Term of Regular Edge and Irregular Centre

초록
This study is to analyze the exceptional works of Louis Kahn who is appraised for one of the Beaux-Arts architecture successors. Kahn makes a regular centre important that is surrounded with regular edge or irregular edge. However, with a irregular centre and regular edge, he breaks from Beaux-Arts architecture and it seems that his plan is drawing to a Le Corbusier's. Dominican Motherhouse is a good example. In this plan, a series of main spaces is freely positioned at beyond orthogonal. In relation of a irregular centre and regular edge, Kahn's room become a Kahn's objet.
