유럽연합에서의 저작권법 개혁에 관한 논의

초록

With a diversity of stakeholders ranging from consumer associations to industry, from authors to research centers and libraries and from national organisations to European ones, copyright law in the European Union should be reformed to fit the legitimate expectations of the 21st century and to act as a true catalyst for innovation and creativity. With a view to modernising the european copyright framework, several copyright policy briefs identifies a number of main flaws in the current system, and proposes manners in which to solve them. This paper examines the European Copyright Code and the policy brief of Lisbon Council about copyright reform in Europe. The paper also aims to offer a better understanding of the legal issues related to the copyright reform.
