삼국유사에서 비일상성의 서사화 원리와 양상

초록

I classified all narratives in Samkuk-yusa, the History and tales of the Three Kingdoms as four categories according to World-view: Pungryu-do, Pungryu-mandala, Hwayen- Jungto-mandala. Then, I studied how subjects in Samkuk-yusa texts create meanings of metaphor or metonymy and form non-everydayness while meeting the other world and an alien substance or a foreign body. In the age of Pungryu-do, from B.C.57(The establishing of the Shilla dynasty) to A.D.567(The official approval of Buddhism in the Shilla dynasty), the Shillararian think that they return to the other world after death. There are three other worlds: the celestial world, the marine world, netherworld. The time is circulated. The alien substances are a bird, a dragon, a turtle etc. The alien substances function as the messenger between earthly life and the other world. The Shillararian ultimate purpose is to reach after happiness in not afterlife but ‘Now and here’ while keeping off a misfortune by the intermediation of a Shaman. In the age of Pungryu--mandala, from A.D.567 to 676(the unification of three kingdoms), the Shillararian think that all living beings are trapped in the eternal cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. The other world is the western paradise. The alien substances are avatars of Buddha. The avatar is a messenger between earthly life and western paradise. The Shillararian ultimate purpose is to reach after happiness in ‘Now and here’ while extinguishing sins through the principles of dependant origination and karma. In the age of Hwayen-Jungto-mandala, from 676 to 780(the end of middle age of the Shilla dynasty), the Shillararian think that all things in nature are mutually arisen, entered, depended. The other world is paradise and yeonhwa-jang, the final stage of a paradise. The alien substances are avatars of Buddha. The avatar is a messenger between earthly life and yeonhwa-jang. The Shillararian ultimate purpose is to reincarnate in yeonhwajang while extinguishing sins through the principles of dependant origination and karma.
