문제중심학습법(PBL)을 활용한 국어교육과 수업 모형 연구

초록

Problem-Based Learning(PBL) is a useful educational model for use in teacher education programs. These students are learners as well as pre-service teachers. By presenting educational settings as the context for PBL problems, students can not only learn educational knowledge but also consider how to use and apply this knowledge in actual teaching environments. Additionally, the PBL teaching model can motivate pre-service teachers by helping them develop communication skills with learners through various media, as well as enhance their ability to collaborate educationally with fellow teachers. So this paper has designed a teaching model for teacher education colleges, focusing on Korean language education. Considering the characteristics of Korean language education, which must be continuous, the PBL-based Korean language education teaching model should follow a cyclic procedure. It should not just offer a solution to a problem but evolve by identifying new problems within that solution. Therefore, the PBL problems used in Korean language education courses must be closely linked to the objectives of the lessons and relate to situations that could occur in middle and high school settings. Additionally, they should be designed as problems that pre-service teachers can easily imagine and empathize with. If PBL is used in future Korean language education courses, pre-service Korean language teachers will be able to practice handling unexpected situations in the school environment beforehand. They will also learn to anticipate and solve problems that are likely to occur in the field.
