도시재생의 정책방향― 일본의 경험과 한국에의 시사점 ―

초록

Japan’s urban-regeneration policy, targeted toward large and small･medium cities, primarily focuses on emergency maintenance & central-cities’ revitalization projects. Particularly, Japan has strengthened effectiveness & sustainability through various policy changes with a view to enhancing performance. For emergency maintenance of the metropolitan and central cities, which are the bases of vitality, a control-tower was built by the prime minister of Japan and importance was given on integrated supports through selection & concentration. On the other hand, revitalization of the central cities was focused on space & building development in small･medium cities that have lost their significance. Such revitalization has improved governance and private participation mainly after amendments of the law twice. The revitalization has also enhanced transparency and sustainability due to strict planning & the implementation processes. The implications of Japan's policy change are as follows. △Construction of control-tower △Consistent & continuous policy △Integrated support package △Regional-based business model △Expansion of participation in private-public cooperation △strengthening of software business △Training of professional talent.
