초록

This paper aims to examine the situation of newspapers and magazines in Modernization Period of Korea(1876~1933). On the basis of their situation, I will classify into small groups. For example, I will classify from periods(19C, 00 era, 10 era, 20 era and so on). Also I will classify from the style of writing(pure-Korean style, sino-Korean style, English style and so on). What is especially important is the style of writing of Newspapers and Magazines in Modernization Period of Korea. This will inaugurate a new era of historical Korean study in the preliminary data aspect at least. Let’s elaborate on that further. Situation of newspapers and magazines in Modernization Period of Korea is calculated from total 749 species. Newspapers are 159 species, magazines 590 species each. Among these, newpaters of pure-Korean style are 38 species and newpaters of sino-Korean style 27 species each. Also magazines of pure-Korean style are 44 species and magazines of sino-Korean style 106 species each.
