공공갈등의 관리: 미국의 송전선로 건설 사업의 교훈

초록

The purpose of this study is to obtain lessons from the transmission line siting cases in the United States and to use them as an important source of data for resolving a public dispute in Milyang, Korea. A public dispute with the transmission line siting in Mil-yang has been an ongoing issue since the project launched in 2002. This long-standing public dispute not only puts significant barriers in the implementation of public projects, but it also is a huge waste of budget. Using the lessons from the transmission line siting cases in the United States, this study suggests a number of policy recommendations for a successful resolution of a public dispute in Milyang, Korea.
