팀장의 리더십이 승무원의 자기효능감 및 안전행동에 미치는 영향 : 비행 전 객실브리핑을 중심으로

초록

In spite of the importance of airline cabin briefing, which is directly related to safety, previous studies on the relationship between cabin briefing and cabin crew safety behavior have been limited. The purpose of this study is to identify the leadership of team leaders who affect the self-efficacy and safety behavior of crew during cabin briefing before flight, and attempt to verify the relationship between the leadership of team leader and self-efficacy of crew. In addition, this study aimed to identify how the leadership influences the crew’s safety behavior depending on the contextual factors. The study was conducted with cabin crews (excluding team leaders and vice team leaders) of domestic Korean airlines, using self-assessment and online surveys for approximately two months from October to November 2019. This study empirically proves the effectiveness of the team leader’s leadership in cabin briefings, and expands the scope of the study by studying the relationship with the crew (team members). It also confirms that this theory can be applied to the overall tourism industry. In addition, in managing the human resources in the aviation industry, it will contribute to establishing practical measures that will enhance the self-efficacy of cabin crew more effectively for those in charge of management. The results will also provide a way to help build a universal manual. This will reduce the accident rate that can occur in the cabin and improve the performance of the aircraft.
