중랑천과 양수리 지역에 서식하는 붉은머리오목눈이(Paradoxornis webbianus)의 단백질 발현 비교

As a response to environmental changes, there are changes not only on population levels but also on molecular levels. Wildlife experience changes of habitat through urbanization and urban population can differ from rural one in terms of behavior, morphology, and so on. We investigated expression of proteins in blood of vinous-throated parrotbills (Paradoxornis webbianus) living in Jungrang-chun (urban) and Yangsu-ri (rural). Population in Jungrang-chun (urban area) and Yangsu-ri (rural area) shared 79 spots of proteins and 15 spots of them differed as much as 10folds between areas. Further experiments and identification of proteins are required to confirm that difference in expression of proteins was resulted from environmental factors. This study is the first report of proteome in Korean wild birds. For the future, the study of relationship between environmental factors and expression of proteins can be useful to monitor environmental changes.
