운동선수군에서 Apolipoprotein(a) 유전자의 +93C/T 다형성이 혈청 Lipoprotein(a) 농도와 심장구조 및 기능에 미치는 영향
초록
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between blood lipoprotein(a)(Lp(a)) level and several cardiovascular risk factors in male athletes of a total of 4 sporting disciplines and controls, and the relationship between blood Lp(a) level or other cardiovascular risk factors and the +93C/T polymorphism in the Apo(a) gene in the both groups. Blood Lp(a) level was measured by automatic analyzer, and the +93C/T polymorphism in the Apo(a) gene by SNaPshot method. There were no significant difference in blood Lp(a)level or the distribution of the +93C/T polymorphism in the Apo(a) gene between athletes and controls or among each athletic group of a total of 4 sporting disciplines. However, the +93C/T polymorphism in the Apo(a) gene was significantly associated with blood Lp(a) level in only athletic group(p<.05). The subjects with CT genotype indicated the lower blood Lp(a) level than those of CC genotype. This result suggest that this polymorphism may be an useful genetic marker related to the inter-individual difference of blood Lp(a)level through the interaction with exercise.
