초록
The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics of the intention to move into shared housing, for Seoul citizens and young, single households. We used the Korea Housing Survey data and conducted analysis using the questionnaire items, on the intention to move into shared housing in the data. For the analysis, a binary logistic regression model was used, and the model was divided into a model for all Seoul citizens, and a model for young, single households. As a significant result of this study, first, the demand for shared housing was significantly higher for young, single households than for other groups. Second, young, single households in Gosiwon, living in monthly rent without deposit, or with high housing instability, were highly likely to move into shared housing. Third, the more dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the residential area, the higher the intention was to move into shared housing. The implications of this study are as follow. It is reasonable to promote shared housing focusing on young, single households. Additionally, it is desirable to plan the systems in such a way as to alleviate the rent burden and housing anxiety of young, single households. Last, since the intention to move into shared housing is most sensitive to the cleanliness of the local streets, it is predicted that the project effect will be higher if the shared housing is distributed in clean areas, rather than in underdeveloped areas.
