Although the market volume of health furniture has been growing rapidly every year, current design of health furniture does not satisfy various appetite of consumer because of cryptic and absurd design concept. Therefore, in this study, we tried to analyze current trend of funiture design market and suggest new design of health furniture. Through this, we tried to suggest new health furniture design based on desgn trend of these days which is out for release yet. Analysis has been implemented as follows: we have searched design concept of latest two years based on design trend forum, magazines, books and thesis. Through this, we could summarize four types of design trend issues. After that, we made positioning map of design trend and compared with market of health furniture. The following is the result of this study. The design concept of latest two years was Modern Minimal, Folk Poetry, Future Fusion and Royal Queen. With this four types of design trend, we analyzed current concept of furniture design and could find out that Modern Minimal and Royal Queen trend is predominate. However, Modern Minimal and Folk Poetry trend is predominate in health furniture market. Through this, we could make a conclusion Modern Minimal is a major design trend and Future Fusion is a most unpopular design trend. Therefore, we suggest two type of design of furniture design: Folk Poetry and Royal Queen. This study could be significant in that we tried to develop design process of health furniture considering current furniture design trend and this attempts should be continuous.
