Conductivity and EMI Shielding Efficiency of Polypyrrole and Metal Compounds Coated on (Non)Woven fabrics

We synthesized fabric complexes coated with polypyrrole (PPy) and metal compounds. PPy coated on fabrics was treated chemically and electrochemically, with DBSA as dopant. Dc conductivity and its temperature dependence of fabrics coated with PPy-DBSA vary with the number of chemical and electrochemical treatments. We present conductivity dependence of (non)woven fabrics coated with metal compounds and its mixture with PPy-DBSA. The EMI shielding efficiency is in the range of 20-50 dB depending on the thickness and conductivity.
