초록

An optical crosslink feedback system has been developed, which introduces artificial interaction between two separated cell-culture microchips containing photo-responsive micro-algae cells of Euglena gracilis. The cell distribution in the microchip A was converted to an illumination pattern for the microchip B, according to an imposed rule, and vice versa. We found that the two different rules imposed individually to two microchips were satisfied simultaneously by a cell-distribution pattern autonomously developed in the microchips, i.e., logic pattern operation has been achieved by the optical crosslink feedback between two separated groups of Euglena cells.
