부모의 심리적 통제와 청소년의 완벽주의적 자기제시의 관계에서 정서 억제의 매개효과

초록

This study aimed to investigate the relationship among adolescent’s perceived parents’psychological control, emotion suppression, and perfectionistic self-presentation, to find out the mediating role of emotion suppression between parents’psychological control and perfectionistic self-presentation. For this study, 316 middle school students in capital area were surveyed in this study. Descriptive statistics analysis, structural equation modeling, and bootstrapping were conducted. The findings of this study were as follows: First, perceived parents’psychological control positively related to emotion suppression and perfectionistic self-presentation. Second, emotion suppression positively related to perfectionistic self-presentation. Third, emotion suppression worked as a mediator of explaining the relationship between parents’psychological control and perfectionistic self-presentation. Based on this study findings, there is a need to understand environmental and internal variable influencing on perfectionistic self-presentation. Lastly, limitations of this study were discussed.
