Effect of multiwall carbon nanotube on thermal stability and rheological properties of thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer nanocomposites

초록

Multiwall carbon nanotube (MWCNT) reinforced thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer (TLCP) nonocomposites were prepared by a melt compounding process and the effect of MWCNT on the thermal stability, rheological and mechanical properties of TLCP nanocomposites were investigated. There are not great improvement of mechanical properties of TLCP/MWCNT nanocomposites due to the agglomerization of MWCNT.
