The study on the relationship of TCI and EEG

The goal of this study was to examine the relationship between Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI) and electophsiological activities in salary workers. For this goal, in 112 salary workers, EEG with open eyed and closed eyed was recorded, and Temperament and Character Inventory (TCI) was assessed. Delta and Theta power related with Novelty Seeking temperament of TCI. Low NS group related with high Delta and Theta power. Harm Avoidance of TCI related with Gamma power. High HA group related with high Gamma power. Persistence of TCI related with Gamma power. Low P group related with high Gamma power. These findings indicate that relative power in EEG is related to the TCI.
