Comparison of Energy Consumption of an Air Source Heat Pump Heating System and a Radiant Floor Heating System in an apartment building

초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze and compare the energy performance of an air heating system with a heat pump and a radiant floor heating system with an energy recovery ventilator in an apartment building. The thermal load in a conditioned zone was derived with the simulation tool TRNSYS 18 and the total energy consumption of the system was calculated from Engineering Equation Solver (EES) using each component model. The COP of the heat pump was calculated as 3.16. The results show that the proposed system reduces 21.8% energy consumption compared with a conventional floor heating system.
