초록
Patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) often experience impaired balance, increasing their risk of falls. However, the specific effects of aerobic exercise on balance in this population remain unclear. This study conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the impact of aerobic exercise on balance in MCI patients. A comprehensive literature search was performed in PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, and Web of Science to identify relevant randomized controlled trials (RCTs). A total of five studies involving 532 MCI patients were included. Meta-analysis results indicated that, compared to the control group, aerobic exercise significantly improved balance, potentially through mechanisms such as enhancing the sensorimotor control system, optimizing neural networks, and promoting neuroplasticity. These findings support aerobic exercise as an effective intervention for improving balance in MCI patients, reducing fall risk, and enhancing independent living ability. However, further high-quality, large-scale, and long-term RCTs are needed to validate the long-term effects and optimize exercise protocols for this population.
