통합적 인지와 창의적 사고의 도구 - 21세기 창의성 교육을 위한 미술교육의 역할 -

초록

This study can be considered as the response to the widespread social interest in creativity. It starts with the following questions: where has the current interest in creativity been generated? Does art education have something to do with creativity indeed? If so, in what aspects? The purpose of this study is to examine the nature of creative thinking that can be developed through art education. First, in regard to the prospects of future society and in the flow of art educational discourses, the meanings of creativity are revisited in order to shed light on the newly defined role of art education as the catalyst for integrated cognition and creativity. From the perspective of integrated cognition, this study discusses on the nature of imagination and creations in association with perception, sensitivity, and emotion. In addition, this study proposes the thinking tools which lead knowledge to creative thinking such as perception, analogy, transformation, abstraction, and integration.
