카자흐 문화 정체성 연구 - 역사, 전통, 그리고 상상의 공동체의 개념을 중심으로

초록

This article explores Kazakh's cultural identity examining particularly history, tradition in Central Asia and concept of imagined communities. This paper deals with the importance of the concept of imagined communities so as to understand Central Asia's nation identity, focused on Kazakh's identity. To understand the content of Kazakh's identity in Central Asia, We need examine historical origin and primordialism in that region. This paper traces the past history, the nomad culture in Kazakhstan and its process in which Kazakh people had national consciousness. Above all I concentrated the cultural concept between Kazakh people and the Soviet system. With this understandings, I mainly studied kazakh nationalism. This paper aims to evaluate Kazakh national identity in terms of the cultural concept. I examined about the historical meaning of the Kazak nomad culture with this understandings. Chapter II explores change of symbol and historicity in Central Asia after inde-pendence. Chapter III review Kazakh's cultural focused on tradition and imagined communities.
