In this study, a grid structure polymer chemical sensor was manufactured with a simple process using 3D printing technology. Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) has a property that absorbs and expands when exposed to a chemical solvent. Using this characteristic when the polymer is exposed to the solvent, the solvent can be classified through a change in the resistance of the polymer sensor by bending. The grid structure polymer sensor fabricated through this study has different resistance change patterns when exposed to three solvents (acetone, isopropyl alcohol, ethanol), and these results are expected to be applied to various industrial fields including chemical leakage monitoring.
