장애인 관련 방송연구의 메타분석

초록

I probed the studies on broadcastings for disabled people of their concerns and subjects and analyzed achievements and shortcomings thereof. Regarding the studies have only recently been made in Korea, the outcomes of this analysis are compared with those of foreign countries that have long performed such studies. By doing this, I can show you some findings which can be organized into three. Firstly, the subjects have been found in the area of legal and policy issues since early 2000’s, and they are spreading into diverse topics of the usage, cognition, appraisal and technical problems. Secondly, majority of the studies utilized qualitative research which turn out to be on legal and policy issues while remains adopted both qualitative and quantitative methods since the themes are varied. Thirdly, the objects are almost equally distributed into materials(law and policy) and audiences. Material analyses outnumbered because they coincide with law and policy issues. Audience analyses cope with satisfaction, usage or cognition of broadcasting services. A few significant features of foreign analyses could be noticed. One is the concern about social paradigm around disabled people. Another is the accessibility of writings about media education for the disabled through various academic journals, whereas the studies on such a theme are yet to be activated.
