Malapropisms and Davidson`s Theory of Literal Meaning

In this presentation I argue that Donald Davidson has two conflicting theories of literal meaning, one of which is seriously flawed. I also argue that this flawed theory of literal meaning is ultimately based on a mistaken account of malapropisms.
