Studies on the synthesis and antibacterial activities of 1b-methyl-2-[5-(substituted heterocycle methyl carbamoyl) pyrrolidine-3-ylthio] carbapenem

Heterocycle(thiazolidine, thiazoline, oxadiazole, isoxazole) thio derivatives were ynthesized via several step from trans-4-hydroxy-L-proline, as shown by the general route summarized in the Scheme. Final compounds were obtained y reaction thio derivatives with B-methylcarbapenem. Antibacterial activites of the prepared compounds were tested.
