초록

The purpose of this paper is to investigate energy generation performance of thermoelectric generator and phase change material assisted building integerated photovoltaic (BIPV-TEG-PCM) module. The proposed system can reduce solar cell temperature and increase generation efficiency of photovoltaic via cooling from phase change material. In addition, thermoelectric generator produces electricity not only during daytime but also nighttime when phase change material absorbs and releases latent heat. An energy simulation was performed on a selected design day by Matlab R2020a software. As a result, the proposed system produced 4 Wh more energy in a one design day, compared to the sole building integrated photovoltaic module.
