초록
Bolt has been widely used as one of the clamping method of the structure in a number of automotive industries. Accurate value of bolt clamping force is essential for structure state diagnosis. In this study, fastened bolt is modeled as Euler-Bernoulli beam with complex spring boundary condition. Tensile axial load and boundary stiffness are altered by fastening bolt. The analytical model for predicting axial load is proposed. Transfer function method is used to minimize effects from the unknown boundary stiffnesses. The estimated tensile load was compared with experimental value measured by a load-cell. By applying the proposed method, bolt clamping force is estimated.
