Sintering behaviors with addition of Ni and Fe chloride to binder was investigated in tungsten heavy alloy fabricated by metal injection molding. Methylcellulose and distilled water were used as binder and solvent for injection molding, and the effect of binder characteristics on the molding behavior was studied. Solid loading was determined by the optimum quantity of methycellulose and distilled water as binder. Injection molding was performed with preheated mold to 130℃ under 78MPa and maintained for an hour. The green part was debinded at 700℃ for 1 hour and then sintered at 1480℃ for 1 hour in its atmosphere. The sintered part was obtained nearly full density. Due to the fine and uniform distribution of Ni and Fe components, sintering properties of the W heavy alloy contained Ni and Fe chlorides were improved and W content in the alloy was increased.
